April 14, 2008 - PRLog -- Yellow Fence has announced that for the 2nd year, they will offer a limited edition shirt and bag to raise money for the support of women with Breast Cancer.  The items will be available at yellowfence.com from May 3rd through October 31st 2008.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each limited edition item will be donated to the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization.

The Yellow Fence products will include a pink t-shirt, ladies long sleeve shirt, and bag.  All items will be printed with the limited edition “care. crop. cure.” design in dark pink.  “Last year Yellow Fence raised over $1200 to fight the battle against Breast Cancer and this year we hope to double that amount”, said Jonathan Beckham, Vice President of Yellow Fence, Inc.  Sale of the shirts and bags will begin on National Scrapbook Day and conclude at the end of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Shirts will be available through retail sales as well as to store owners who wish to carry them in their shops or use them for events.

The Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization was founded in 1978 and is a Chicago-based national nonprofit organization with the mission to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone.  Y-ME operates the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Hotline, which is the only around the clock call center operated by trained counselors who are breast cancer survivors.  Each year they answer questions from more than 44,000 people who need information and support.  You can learn more about the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization by visiting www.y-me.org.

Yellow Fence, Inc. is a family owned and operated business specializing in apparel and accessories for the scrapbooking and craft industry.  In 2008 they launched “Chari-tees” by Yellow Fence and the site www.dogoodweargood.com in an attempt to raise money for worthy charities throughout the United States.  Yellow Fence will donate twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the sale of each “care. crop. cure.” item to the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization.  You can learn more about Yellow Fence by visiting www.yellowfence.com.
