Apr 14, 2008 – MURRYSVILLE, PA – The Certified Contractors Network (CCN), a national organization that promotes ethics, education, leadership, and innovation to achieve mutual benefit between the construction industry and the community, recently visited Pittsburgh for its Spring Contractor Training Conference.
Owners and employees alike, benefit from the plethora of information presented at the conference through seminars, keynote speakers, and MasterMind brainstorming sessions. As the lone Pittsburgh member, Energy Swing Windows took it upon themselves to entertain the group during their off-time. Aside from dining at the best steakhouses in the area and taking a walk around “Black and Gold Country,” the contractors were bussed out to Murrysville this past Friday to take in food and a tour of the Energy Swing Windows factory.
“Holding the conference in Pittsburgh gave us a great opportunity to invite members out to our facility and show them our processes and how we manage our company and products. The whole purpose of CCN is for owners to share their successes and difficulties in the contracting business and offer ideas to one another,” said Steve Rennekamp, owner of Energy Swing Windows and 8-year member of CCN.
Rennekamp has a dominant presence in the organization for the amount of time he spends helping other members, which recently earned him an award for “Most Helpful Member.”
