Apr 13, 2008 – RALEIGH, N.C. – The Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS) has announced that it is currently accepting nominations for the 2008 Watt Huntley Award for Lifetime Achievement.
The award will be presented to a former or current public relations professional or journalist who has made meaningful contributions to the field of communications and to the community over the course of his or her career. The late Watt Huntley served as public relations chief at Carolina Power and Light and as RPRS president in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Those who knew him admired his career skills and his efforts to give "heart and soul" to the profession.
