Omaha-based rock band Cold Steel has added several radio stations across the country in support of their first single from their full-length debut CD. "Every Day's The Same" has been picked up by Indie104 (Los Angeles), The Bolt (Houston), Upstream Radio (Los Angeles), 89.7 The River (Omaha) and Z92FM (Omaha) are the first stations to add the single.
For the first four consecutive days that "Every Day's The Same" was available for request on Indie104 in Los Angeles, it was the most requested song via internet vote. In addition, Cold Steel gained nearly 1000 MySpace friend requests after the single's release to radio.
Cold Steel just completed a headlining show featuring Vendetta Valentine, named by KROQ Los Angeles as one of the top 10 unsigned bands in Southern California. The band is currently prepping the video release of "Every Day's The Same" along with its CD release party to be held on May 2, 2008 at The Rox in Omaha, Nebraska. In a salute to their ever-growing fanbase, Cold Steel is rewarding the fan or fans that bring the most people to their CD release party with $500 in cash.
