FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 13, 2008 -
"I am Going Where I belong" based on some true facts, is the plight of a former wealthy immigrant family. Chriscile Leger, mother of two children who fled their country, after the brutal assassination of her husband during a coup.  They are forced to locate in a poor neighborhood in America, where they face violence and poverty. Years collapsed, Chriscile refuses to adapt to the American way of life, and still dreams of returning to her home country one day.

Hans, the oldest son, struggles to leave the ghetto behind but the violence conspires to hold him back. He tries to support his mother emotionally and his family financially. As this family life starts to ameliorate, tragedy once again strikes.

I am Going Where I Belong tells the story of one man's fate destroyed by tragedy and violence.
Hans Lindor is a playwright, novelist and screenwriter as well as a masterful storyteller. At 13 years old, in 1989, he lost his father unexpectedly. Seven years passed, his mother was killed. In 1997, his brother was murdered. Lindor is also an inspirational speaker and has addressed students in schools in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Florida regarding guns, drugs and violence.

After receiving several threats for his political opinions while promoting his first novel "It's a Shame to be a Negro", Hans Lindor comes with a second Novel "I am Going Where I Belong", a very provocative novel, in which he once again expresses his political view "In Haiti, killing becomes the best and only option to negotiate or have a dialogue with your opponent in the eyes of the government."

In "I am Going Where I Belong" Hans wrote, "I’d meant what I’d said about putting the country up for sale. To me, it would be the last opportunity for Haiti to get out of poverty, starvation and violence.
If I were ever to voice this in Haiti, some would want to burn me alive and would strive for my death. They would use any kind of excuse to have me killed. They would call me a traitor, “Uncle Sam”, anti-socialist for telling the truth. They would want me dead not because they care for the country and its sovereignty, not because they are proud of their nationality, but because, if my scenario came to pass, they would no longer be able to corrupt the country, abuse the people and steal from the country."
