Los Angeles, CA.-- Local television reality show The Hood Trekker seems headed for the big time, after 2 successful seasons in the Philadelphia market and becoming an over night internet phenom, confidential sources close to the company report of a possible funding agreement between O2 Media Inc., several unnamed media funding firms, and Urban Generation the producers of The Hood Trekker. The Hood Trekker Reality series highlights vacation and tourist destinations throughout the United States and the Caribbean. The half hour weekely series, starring Bo Starks, an internationally celebrated artist/musician as the Hood Trekker, chronicles the fabled adventures of the Hood Trekker as he travels from city to city and state to state exploring the uknown and inspiring mischief. Insiders note the funding is for the production of the Hood Trekker Series and its media advertising costs. Reportedly, O2 Media will manage a 12 month national media advertising campaign throughout the US and Canada, while retail distribution is managed by IDDS, LLC. Though calls to O2 Media were not returned by the time of print, O2 Media is a renown industry leader in production, advertising, and direct response marketing. O2 Media and Urban Generation's deal is rumored to be for over $500,000 production and $3 million for media cost. The media will be spent on marketing the Hood Trekker DVDs and increasing subscriptions of the series. Once finalized production will begin in late May. Urban Generation was not available for comment, but sources close to the artist state that Bo Starks is supportive of the agreement.
