Apr 11, 2008 – The Mascot Factory is pleased to announce a successful inaugural show at the recent CAMEX collegiate tradeshow. Over 50 new colleges and universities across the country purchased plush teddy bears and other stuffed animals for their bookstores. Bookstore buyers were delighted with the various show specials, especially the free 4 foot tall school mascot for every custom plush mascot purchased. Benjamin Lee, VP of Sales, added “While the Mascot Factory has served the plush stuffed animal needs of over 250 schools in the collegiate market for over a dozen years now, this is our first year serving the college bookstore buyers directly versus through distributors. These new partnerships will not only allow us to continue to provide high quality stuffed animals wrapped around great customer service, but also will allow us to offer even more competitive pricing and better respond to individual school’s and the market’s trends and preferences.”
The Mascot Factory was also able to form new partnership agreements with manufacturing rep teams that represent 21 new states across the country.
