April 11, 2008 - PRLog -- Historic national “people’s movement “One Voice for Change” in support of Senator Barack Obama recently gained International momentum with the addition of Rome, Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Vienna joining their voices on April 12th, 2008.  The now international rally will unite the people in “One Voice” that will echo around the globe.

While the “One Voice for Change” international rally is in support of Senator Barack Obama’s campaign for the Democratic nomination for president, it is more importantly reflective of the movement that his campaign has inspired and that has called forth many who have never given thought to participating in government or the political process. It has also awakened many who have grown jaded and cynical of the process and given them new hope all over the world.

The rally, scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2008, will actually be a simultaneous sequence of coordinated events in some of the largest international metropolitan cities including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Columbus, Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, and many more.

Several celebrities adding their voices include Malcolm Jamal Warner, Tempest Bledsoe and Nyima Funk.  Many A-list celebrities continue to support Obama adding their voices to the “One Voice for Change” movement.

The rallies are a positive show of support for Barack Obama, as the people organize and mobilize to come together to stand for change simultaneously on one day, at one time, joining hands and lifting their voices to echo Obama's familiar rally cry;  "YES WE CAN” followed by Obama’s closing rally song “Signed Sealed Delivered”.
Start times for the rallies have been synchronized so that all events kick off at the same hour: 12 noon (EST), 11 a.m. (CST), 10 a.m. (MT) and 9 a.m. (PST) making time zone adjustments for the rest of the world.

The rally’s theme echoes the Obama campaign’s focus on uniting people and the coordinators of the “One Voice for Change” rally look to take that a step further echoing the sentiment found on the great seal of the United States – “E Pluribus Unum – out of many One.”
