High School Band Programs made better with Teacher Training for Band Directors

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 10, 2008 – High School Bands and Music Education Programs now have help in the form of  CEU courses specific to music teachers.   All teachers must take CEU courses to keep up with teacher certification, but until now there haven't been many courses directed to High School or Middle School Band Educators.  
High School Band Directors National Association announces the start of online, accredited CEU courses for music instructors with titles such as Classroom Management for the Band Director , Effective Strategies for Sightreading Performance, Marketing & Promoting Your Band, Teaching Tips for Specialized Instruments,Current Trends for the High School Band Director and more.  Each course is available over the internet, and takes just a few hours to complete.  They are designed by band directors, to help band directors!  
To have great music education, there must be good music teachers, and in order to have good music teachers, there must be good support systems for them.
