EnerisQ International, LLC announced today that it will represent GWUT (Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing) services to its global base of energy industry customers effective immediately.

GWUT services allow for 100% of a pipe section to be inspected from a single location. The advantage to pipeline operators is that they need not shut down operations to inspect a segment of pipe. In addition, unlike conventional inspections, buried or difficult to access segments can still be inspected without added costs of access. Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing can pinpoint the exact position of an anomaly and even indicate its position on the pipe using a clock position reference point.
