Apr 09, 2008 – Matthew Famiglietti officially filed for the Democratic Primary in the Commonwealth of Virginia's 8th Congressional District to be held on Tuesday June 10, 2008. He provided all the necessary paperwork to the Party Chair at 1:39PM ET today. The paperwork was accepted by the Party Chair.
During the petition drive Mr. Famiglietti experienced an overwhelming positive response to his platform and is very much encouraged that he will be victorious in the Primary on Tuesday June 10. He looks forward to an open and free debate with the current incumbent Democratic Congressman, Mr. Jim Moran. Mr. Famiglietti plans to formally challenge Mr. Moran to a series of debates on issues of importance to the 8th Congressional District.
