Apr 09, 2008 – MORRISVILLE, N.C. – Jan Johnson, vice president, director of account management at MSA, a full-service, integrated marketing and communications firm and division of Kowabunga!® (AMEX:THK), announced today the expansion of its client services team with the addition of Doug Weaver, as senior account manager, and Andrea Owen, as assistant account executive.
Both join MSA as UNC Health Care expands the agency’s assignments to include recruitment marketing.
“Doug and Andrea are talented individuals who bring varied experience and a shared commitment to client service,” Johnson said. “They are welcome additions who will provide focused, personalized attention to MSA clients.”
As senior account manager, Weaver will lead UNC Health Care recruitment marketing initiatives. He brings diverse marketing and advertising experience to MSA having recently served as associate vice president of marketing for Washington Mutual Bank, in Irvine, Calif. Previously, Weaver was an account supervisor on the Hyundai Motor America business when he was at Bates Advertising, also in Irvine. He graduated from California State University Fullerton with a bachelor’s in marketing.
Andrea Owen joins Weaver on the UNC Health Care account as assistant account executive, coordinating the daily maintenance of the account with Weaver. Owen is a 2005 graduate of Purdue University, with a bachelor’s in interpersonal communication.
