New Site Makes Writing More Mobile

The new mobile publishing site Quillpill (http://www.quillpill.com) lets users write and read content on mobile phones. Users can compose anything on their cell phones -  from simple diary posts to the next great serialized novel - and publish it on the Web. The site is currently in beta.

Quillpill gives writers, poets, and readers the ability to produce and consume creative writing in convenient bite-sized pieces for their on-the-go lifestyle. The Quillpill platform provides the tools to create using the portability of a mobile phone so publishing can happen whenever the inspiration strikes.

Mobile-ready web in the United States is a booming opportunity in web development. Some prominent services offer mobile mirror sites and features, however, Quillpill is focusing on these features as the trend toward convergence continues.

Forecasters for 2008 say “mobile” and "m-business" are the new buzzwords in business as more Americans purchase web-ready phones and unlimited data plans.
