Counterfeit pharmaceuticals are an increasing public health threat and everyone from the pharmaceutical producers, throughout the supply chain, down to the consumers, will benefi t from a coordinated fi ght against the fakes. To keep the public safe, new legislation and regulations are imposed, new technology is developed and the forms for importing and selling pharmaceuticals are widely debated. With this variety of technologies to choose from, and so many different legislative changes to obey by, an interchange of ideas and experiences is vital to every one involved, in the process of getting safe medicines from the manufacturer to the patients.
