The company's presentation, delivered by Ron Moravek is on April 29 at 3:45 p.m. PT at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
“The Innovation Showcase is the stage on which the most exciting companies can present their solutions to a top-tier audience of industry leaders,” said a Software 2008 spokesman.
“With a PR blitz of videos, podcasts and press releases, this year's Innovation Showcase companies will be in an outstanding position to garner attention from key CIOs, software and SI partners and venture capitalists. In addition, 20,000 Interop attendees will have access to the Showcase presentations,”
“There’s no better venue for us to showcase our product and services than this event,” said Nicole Denil, vice president of marketing for Sitemasher. “We’re ready to show the world our revolutionary new product.”
Phil Calvin, founder and chief technical officer of Sitemasher, began developing a product in summer 2006 that is expected to take the complexity out of building, updating and maintaining websites, Denil said.
Eric Carlson of Anthem Capital became the sole venture capitalist in 2007. “Anthem Capital is delighted to be a lead investor in Sitemasher,”
“It is a boon to site developers and owners alike,” he said. “We think the development community will agree in the months and years to come.”
“Sitemasher has attracted a talented, experienced executive team from many technology disciplines,”
Co-founders include Ron Moravek, chief executive officer, who joined the new corporation in August 2007 from Electronic Arts Canada. Moravek also co-founded Relic Entertainment along with Curtis Terry, chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Sitemasher.
Under Moravek’s direction, Sitemasher formed the senior management team with Nicole Denil, vice president of sales and marketing. Denil joined Sitemasher from Microsoft Corporation, where she managed several businesses in Latin America. Denil offers 18 years of experience in international business and a strong history of managing high-growth businesses.
Eric Dorgelo, vice president of development, joined the team from Rockwell Software with a successful record of 18 years managing strategy, design and implementation of business-critical software.
“The Sitemasher team is fun, motivated, smart and results oriented,” Calvin said. “Great people with a great product in a great space.”
Sitemasher provides software that makes building, managing, and optimizing websites simple a browser-based, drag-and-drop platform delivered via SaaS (Software as a Service).
