Intelametrix®showcases 2d Body Composition Add-on For Bodyview Software

Today at Club Industry East Tradeshow, Intelametrix® showcases the most recent version of its BodyView body composition software.  BodyView2D when used with the BodyMetrix BX2000 ultrasound device allows the user to acquire and save two dimensional cross-sectional images of tissue.  “This capability goes beyond simple body composition measurements (%BF) and for the first time provides fitness professionals with an accurate monitor of changes in fat and muscle structure.”  said Donna Vazquez, CEO and President.  “Our BodyView2D software was released several weeks ago at the IHRSA Trade Show in San Diego, and later on at the ACSM show in Long Beach, CA.  It has generated a lot of interest among the wellness and fitness industry.”

BodyView2D includes a variety of other enhancements over previous versions.  It offers the ability to customize reports and select from multiple report formats.  The generated reports can be printed or directly emailed to clients.   For calculating the percentage body fat (%BF) new formulas have been added for children, and adult formulas have been extended to 9 point formulas.   A special version of BodyView2D is also available for high schools which provides standard wrestler body composition formulas.
