Apr 04, 2008 – Kelli Dunn, the well recognized model who has graced many magazine pages as well as strolled the runway for company giants like Lane Bryant, Lord and Taylor, and Elisabeth Clairborne, has been named the Editor-at-Large for NOMA Beauty Magazine.
Noma Beauty Magazine is the magazine published by National Online Makeup Artists, the website that started out as a makeup artists database and soon became so much more. Aside from being a place where people or agencies looking to hire a makeup artists could find them (on a national and in some cases an international level), The website is also home to the NOMA Academy “Makeup Artistry 101", a self-paced, 10-lesson class packed full of makeup history, application techniques and ideas which will help a student get started on becoming a masterful makeup artist. National Online Makeup Artists was created by Kelli Dunn and her celebrity makeup artists sister Vanessa.
“With the success of the website, A physical/ real world magazine was the next logical step for our growth as a company,” Kelli Dunn said from her office. “We want to entertain, educate, and inform our readers about the world of makeup and beauty.”
Kelli Dunn wanted to make it clear that even though the magazine is designed for makeup artists, it is so much more and can be appreciated by the average person who loves makeup and beauty. “There are fun things also, like cooking tips, celebrity comparisons and information, horoscopes, and more. There are also tips to perfect that business or “going out” look or how to get that favorite celebrity look.. I wanted the magazine to be enjoyed wether you are a professional makeup artists or not... And I think we accomplished that.”
The First issue was release in March and the next issue is scheduled to be released in May before going monthly. Not only is Kelli Dunn Editor-at-Large, she is also the art director and has worked hard at making sure the magazine has an elegant and clean look.
