All thirty-three iPhone® trail maps are online now for free at www.podpro.ca. Podpro Systems™ also creates unique, portable, easy to use animated ski and snowboard resort guides that can easily be viewed on a BlackBerry®, iPhone®, iPod® and many other portable electronic devices.

Whistler B.C. – Podpro Systems™, a Whistler B.C. company creates and provides mobile users with unique, electronic resort guides. Additionally, Podpro Systems™ provides mountain resort destinations with animated video trail map guides that are easily integrated into the resorts current web site for their guests to download to their portable devices.

“In the past, a resort guest would have to carry a wasteful paper trail map that can get wet and was not much help” said Millar. “Now they can simply pull out their BlackBerry®, iPhone® or iPod® that they are carrying anyway and easily view the guides and trail maps.

Podpro Systems™ iPhone® trail maps provide iPhone® users with the resorts high resolution trail map graphics. The mobile user can use the iPhone’s® unique multi-touch user interface to zoom in and scroll around to explore the trail map. Podpro also provides iPhone® users with live resort weather and snow conditions along with links to the resorts home page and lodging options.

Podpro Systems™ animated resort guides are fully customized to suit each unique resort and the information they want to make available to their guests. Some information Podpro Systems™ suggests covering is: the location of first aid care and on mountain emergency phone numbers; lodge or restaurant facilities including menu info, location of washrooms and other services offered; terrain park information and their locations.
