Maximise laboratory productivity with Parker Hannifin's NitroVap nitrogen generators

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 03, 2008 – The Process Filtration Division of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has launched a range of bench or wall mounted nitrogen generators for use with sample concentrators and evaporators. The NitroVap-1LV and NitroVap-2LV generators are able to maximise productivity by providing a constant supply of gas, eliminating the downtime associated with conventional supply methods.

The Parker NitroVap is a non-electrical miniature bench or wall mounted membrane nitrogen generator that produces over 350 LPM of pure evaporation grade nitrogen using a combination of filtration and membrane separation technologies. This unique package requires less than one square foot of bench space and can supply over 100 evaporator nozzle positions.

Existing laboratory compressed air is filtered by high efficiency coalescing filters, which remove all contaminants down to 0.01 micron. Hollow fibre membranes then subsequently separate the clean air into a concentrated nitrogen stream and oxygen enriched permeate stream, which is vented from the system.
