Critical Watch Continues Success with Expanded Offerings and Updated Corporate Branding

Product release delivers increased efficiency and cost-savings while new look solidifies message

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 02, 2008 – Critical Watch, a leading provider of security risk management and compliance solutions, announced today it will unveil a new product release, FusionVM 4.0, at the industry RSA® Conference 2008 in San Francisco, California April 7 – 11, 2008. This new offering is an extension of the existing Critical Watch FusionVM suite of Vulnerability Management and PCI compliance solutions.

FusionVM 4.0 is an expansion into the security configuration and policy compliance space. Designed to delve deeper into regulatory compliance and give customers comprehensive information needed to satisfy auditors, it compares customer-defined policies to stated configuration requirements and immediately identifies non-compliant assets. Additionally, FusionVM will now enable businesses to track rogue assets, including laptops, across both static and dynamic environments.

“The primary objective of FusionVM 4.0 is to add security configuration and policy compliance to FusionVM’s already rich feature set. Eliminating the manual labor of security and compliance tasks incurred during audits, FusionVM 4.0 furthers our product capability of allowing enterprises to automate these key tasks and execute them as a proactive, operationalized process. The results are lowered compliance costs, increased accuracy and timeliness of information. At the same time it provides visibility, measurability and control over corporate security, risk and compliance,” states Critical Watch President and CEO David Laizerovich.

Like the entire FusionVM enterprise solution, FusionVM 4.0 was designed specifically with customer input. According to Laizerovich, “We generally get a great sense for the wider marketplace by talking with our customers about the challenges they face and the needs of the various teams using FusionVM. With these things in mind, we aim to create products and services that are market-driven, truly needed and useful.”

To go along with the 4.0 release and the expansion of its solution set, Critical Watch has updated its corporate branding and evolved its messaging to reflect its new market position. Web site updates include the opportunity for customers to personally experience the Critical Watch approach of customer-focused priorities. Detailed product and service explanations and multiple opportunities to interact with Critical Watch personnel are available. Additional plans include the opportunity for customers to submit questions and learn from the management team members through an executive blog.

“We value our customers and want to provide them with as much information as possible regarding our FusionVM suite of security risk management and compliance solutions,” says Vice President of Strategy and Development Mike Curtis. “Our identity update and the associated changes to the Web site and other materials reflect the advances we’ve made in our offerings and continued overall growth.”
