PRLog (Press Release)Apr 02, 2008 – This Summer NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti offers 2 or 4-week courses in Graphic Design aimed at students who wish to have a better understanding of what communication design is.
Exploring Milan, the cutting edge of creativity, students will be surrounded by its urban landscape and have the chance be in touch with International professionals working in the field of Graphic Design.
Beside being the capital of Fashion and Furniture Design, Milan and its urban environment are the perfect set where students can spot different kinds of graphic expression all around the city. Under the guidance of a professional teacher you will discover the city through a different pint of view.
Milan and its vibrant urban atmosphere and unmistakable creativity make it your next destination if you are looking forward to studying the contemporary graphic design.

During the Introduction to Graphic Design course (from June 30th to July 11th) students will learn the basic technical notions of graphic design, (composition, color, material and so on) with a particular emphasis on the links between urban communication and graphic design. The medium will be explored by a mixture of theory and practice to provide the students with the necessary skills to develop different graphic identities, towards the final production of a shared printed volume.

During the Graphic Design Studio course (from July 15th to July 25th), students will approach more advanced graphics, illustration and typography notions developing at the same time the conceptual and narrative skills necessary for the production of an evocative design. The urban environment of Milan with its graphic forms, both studied and visited, will serve as fundamental stimulation to generate a final poster that communicates visually and graphically the essence of the city.
