FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Apr 01, 2008 – The TransVu Express is one of the most advanced products of it’s kind out in the market. Both network and GSM capable, this mobile security solution integrates into the electrical system of a vehicle. With intelligent power management, the unit can internally record up to eight camera inputs and 2 channels of audio. The device also includes alarm relays, alarm inputs, and is currently being programmed to incorporate GPS integration. Using this product, RnR Racing team member, Rachel Sasse, had an idea for a possible sponsorship for her race team. Why not exhibit the product by installing the mobile security device to her race bike and capturing some race footage?
Together, Rachel Sasse and Rick Beggs, co-owners of RnR Cycles, along with some friends, devised a way to mount the unit within the tail of the race bike, wiring a back and front camera, along with audio. “Actually, installing the TransVu in a race bike is an extreme application. Typically, this equipment would be installed in a vehicle such as an armored car, school bus, or emergency vehicles. But, it certainly makes for a more exciting demonstration to showcase the product!” Rachel explained. “In my vision, I can honestly see the TransVu replacing black boxes used in planes, but with augmented capabilities to monitor all types of vehicles. The TransVu would have been a benefit in reviewing the actions that Blackwater USA took in Iraq, for example.” The TransVu Express, race video footage, along with the race bike, will be on display at the ISC West Security Convention in Las Vegas, NV from April 2-4, 2008, where 26,000 security professionals, including dealers and installers, integrators and distributors come to Las Vegas and discover thousands of the latest security products and cutting-edge technologies. # # # RnR Cycles is a high performance motorcycle shop located near Dulles Airport. With 17 years of industry experience, RnR Cycles services bikes of all types for superior repair, maintenance, high performance modification, and even race preparation. RnR Cycles is a well known name in the racing community and at the local race track, Summit Point, in West Virginia.
