USA, North Carolina artist, Robert Kernodle makes images of what he calls "the universe's fundamental forms". Using a small pool of liquid or a thin layer of liquid as a canvas, he pours on colors and captures images of their short-lived interactions with a camera. He says that these images are universally appealing, because they depend on water - - the same substance revered by most of the world's religions as the sacred source of all creation.
"Water", says Kernodle, "is the main chemical component of human bodies, the primary stuff of Earth's oceans and atmosphere, and the basis of all life as we know it. How can we not have an affinity for its natural patterns?"
Kernodle calls his style "fluidism", and he now is making his fluidism images available to the commercial image licensing industry. His images have applications for home, office or other interior designers who use wall art. Also, his images apply to media publishers who deal with subjects like: chemistry, fluid mechanics, complexity science, philosophy, art or any other specialty where organic visuals might clarify or enhance the presentation.
Art canvases, book jacket covers, interior illustrations, calendars and other projects stand to benefit from using Kernodle's benevolent, positive and deep-rooted imagery.
Kernodle's fluidism images appear on the internet, along with their complete description. Google "artist robert kernodle" or "fluidism". Direct links are:
