Accordingly to Anton Kolomyeytsev (CEO of the company) main goal of this software is to promote the StarBurn SDK - developers targeting toolkit that enables developers to perform the complete range of manipulations with optical media storage including discs in Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats. "We didn't really try to sell software for end-users on CD/DVD/Blu-Ray burning software market. We're well known as the creators of the StarBurn CD/DVD burning and mastering SDK and StarBurn is only some sort of demonstration what can be done with our technologies. Just a tiny subset of the functions SDK exports to the end-users. Better say - programmers. But we’re glad the community can benefit from such a powerful tool beingdistributed as freeware." Mr. Kolomyeytsev said. He did mention that there is a commercial version of product available which enables networking operations but again sales is not the main focus here. "It does work for our good name already and that's more than enough for now." he added.
