FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Mar 31, 2008 – The Michigan Paranormal Expo is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Opera House in Howell, Michigan and will run from 12-9pm. The organizers and hosts for the paranormal expo are PRISM, short for Paranormal Researchers in Southeast Michigan. Lisa Hoskins, Founder of PRISM and Director of the Expo says that her group decided to put on the event because there is such a huge lack of paranormal-related conferences and events in the Michigan area. “By having this Expo, it will give paranormal groups a chance to network with each other to exchange ideas, information and talk to others in their area about the paranormal”. This is a medium-scale event and if it goes well, subsequent Expos could be something in the future. PRISM chose the Opera House for the Expo location because of it's rich history in the community along with having spirit activity in the building, making it a perfect choice for the day's events.

The featured speaker at the Expo will be Patrick Burns, co-star of “Haunting Evidence” on Tru TV. Along with Patrick Burns, other guest speakers include Ghostly Talk, a paranormal radio show based out of Michigan, Lisa J. Smith, a spiritual intuitive, speaker and talk-show host, James Willis, co-author of “Weird Ohio”, and other great speakers from the paranormal community. A panel discussion will also be featured, giving the speakers and guests a chance to interact with each other and discuss topics relating to paranormal investigations and the paranormal community.

The Expo will also feature vendors selling their wares, paranormal groups featuring equipment and other items, authors and psychics as well. PRISM is also hosting a Meet & Greet the night before the Expo on Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Shark Club in Howell, Michigan. The Meet & Greet begins at 8pm and there is no cost to get in. This will give people a chance to meet the speakers, vendors and hang out will others from the paranormal community in a relaxed atmosphere.

Tickets for the Expo are $30.00, and vendor tables are $50.00 and include one ticket for the Expo. Ticket registration will be open until June 9th and the event is limited to 200 people, so tickets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information you can visit the PRISM website at http://www.ghostprism.com or call Lisa Hoskins at (734)883-3724.
