Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The leading sports newspaper in Jakarta – BOLA and health tabloid – Gaya Hidup Sehat, adopt WoodWing Smart Connection Enterprise and the Adobe Creative Suite for their new editorial platform.
Tabloid BOLA is the leading Indonesian sports newspaper, which also publishes a monthly magazine – Bola Vaganza. BOLA has more than 20 years experience in the sports newspaper and magazine segment in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Tabloid Gaya Hidup Sehat (GHS) has been leading the way for topics such as sports science, health and psychology since 1999. In their new media convergence strategy, they decided to choose WoodWing’s Smart Connection Enterprise as their new editorial workflow solution.
“In our quest to provide strong products for multiple media platforms, we needed a flexible and proven solution we can rely on. That’s the reason we choose WoodWing as the editorial platform” said Mr. Ian Situmorang, Director of Sports & Healthy Life Style Media (MEDIOR).
WoodWing’s Authorized Solution Partner Serious Technology Sdn Bhd took care of the implementation. The solution involved migration into the Adobe Creative Suite platform, advanced InDesign training and consultancy conducted by InDesignConsultants.com, introducing InCopy and InDesign Server with online real-time web editing capabilities. The WoodWing Smart Connection Enterprise publishing platform helps to streamline the production environment and eliminates bottlenecks in the existing editorial workflow.
“Rolling out the second Kompas Gramedia’s publishing arm with the WoodWing publishing solution shows the confidence in our solutions and our team; we strive to maintain the highest level of commitment to all of our clients” said John Fong, Chief Executive Officer of Serious Technology Sdn Bhd.
“WoodWing continues to prove itself in this region; our workforce in the Asia Pacific region has grown more than 100% in the last twelve months and this shows our commitment to the region", added Remco Koster, Managing Director of WoodWing Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd.
