According to Mr. Nisith Naik, COO – Projects, the new company will allow Focus Softnet to qualify for any size of project in IT, thus opening innumerable opportunities in Saudi to target huge corporations such as Aramco, Sabic, Sceco and projects from various ministries. “We have plans for at least $10 million in projects for 2008. We are currently in process of registering our company as preferred vendor in these enterprises,”
Mr. Ali Hyder, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Softnet, highlighted that new company will also consider having joint ventures with foreign companies wanting to come to Saudi Arabia and could not come because of complex procedures for establishing the companies. “We can provide them with a ready platform to start their operations under our company and they can leverage on our established name and image in the market. Foreign companies will be able to invest in our company to target their specific work areas and industry verticals,” explains Mr. Hyder. “We are looking at having Joint Ventures in software security, networking solutions, system integration or any solution that we identify as having huge potential in KSA, allowing our valued customers to have access to almost all IT solutions and services from one company,” added Mr. Hyder.
