HP Indigo Press and Autotex DP Film
Autotex DP, the latest in a range of textured, screen printable polyester films from MacDermid Autotype, the leading global developer and manufacturer of high performance films and coatings, has been officially approved and recommended by Hewlett Packard.
Both Autotex DP F150 and F200 fine texture films are now HP S2000 and WS2000/WS4500 certified materials, displaying high quality results over extended durations. Following thorough testing, HP reported that the film, which consists of a coated polyester base with a primer surface on the second side, offered excellent ink transfer and adhesion when used with Hewlett Packard Indigo digital printing presses (S2000, WS2000, WS4050).
The film combines HP approval with excellent scratch and chemical resistance, even at the edges, thanks to its chemically bonded, UV-cured textured coating, which gives a switch life performance of over five million actuations, even when embossed, for long life in the most demanding environments.
Due to its combination of ink adhesion and resistance to wear and cleaning, the Autotex DP film is ideal for a wide variety of applications, such as membrane switch overlays, surface applications, nameplates, labels and product marking, and fascia panels.
