Alongside hosting the Association of British Travel Agents seminar in January, Tenerife's popularity over the year, and the economy's reliance on its tourism sector, means the infrastructure is well developed and a wide range of activities are on offer."
Surfing, snorkelling, scuba-diving, fishing, sailing, ab-sailing, para-gliding, golf, and horse-riding to name but a few of the activities tourists to Tenerife can take part in. All the above gave Tenerife a lot to promote itself on when it hosted the Annual meeting of the Association for British Travel Agents in January. According to Tenerife Based news portal tenerifenews.com the meeting was very good for the island:
