Mar 29, 2008 – Baltimore, MD – Baltimore’s Fashion Week will be held during Monday, August 11, 2008 through Friday, August 15, 2008 and the list of designers grows daily. “For our first annual event, I am so excited that we have a total of 25 designers registered to date and ready to showcase their collections, but there is one designer that caught my eye from just one glimpse”, states Sharan Nixon, President/CEO of Baltimore’s Fashion Week. “There is a story to this one, and I feel compelled to share it, got a minute”, mentioned Nixon as she smiled.
BSassy, Inc. is one of the designer showcasing for Baltimore’s Fashion Week. Nixon was introduced to BSassy, Inc., by somewhat of a default. Nixon noticed the uniquely designed handbag from one of the models of Baltimore’s Fashion Week. “Oh my goodness, exclaimed Nixon. “Where in the world did you get that bag? It doesn’t matter, I will give you $60 for that bag,” as Nixon reached for her wallet. Instead of the model giving the bag over to Nixon, she instead, provided her with the business card for BSassy, Inc. After the model left she went back to the designer’s location and informed, Barbara Tritle, owner of BSassy, Inc., the good news. Before Nixon could arrive home, she received a call and it was the designer who was so excited that someone not from Pennsylvania, loved her bag. Nixon was excited and honored that the designer contacted her so quickly, in a matter of hours. Nixon was so impressed that she invited her to place during Baltimore’s first annual Baltimore’s Fashion Week. “I have never ever seen a bag as unique as that. I have been to plenty of boutiques and I am always looking for something eclectic and unique and I believe this takes the cake” mentioned Nixon.
BSassy, Inc. is located in Chambersberg, Pennsylvania, Barbara has been the owner/co-designer for five (5) years. The other half of this wonderful unique fashion branding style is Carolyn Bishop. Barbara has over 30 years of being in the handbag/accessory industry, as a buyer. Spreading her designer wings she decided to share her creativity with her family, friends, and local retail customers. Now with placement in Baltimore’s Fashion Week she will be showcasing in Baltimore with both local and national coverage.
BSassy, Inc. will showcase during Baltimore’s Fashion Week’s runway events scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2008 through Friday, August 15, 2008. “From previous discussion with Barbara regarding her style of presentation during fashion week, you do not want to miss not one minute” stated Nixon.
