Within a month of taking small office space at Forest Gate, near Stratford, Chris won orders worth around £30,000.
He decided to stay in London – while keeping his permanent base in the North East, where he retains two staff – and it was not long before he was able to move to larger offices/warehouse in Greenwich.

Joolop ( www.joolop.com ) has gone through many manifestations before becoming an on-line portal for all the Joolop business, giving information and the latest development at Joolop.

Joolop Games ( www.joolopgames.com ) is the first business set up under the Joolop brand to supply popular games for the likes of Wii, DS, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox.

Future plans include introducing Joolop DVDs, Joolop music and even Joolop juices – with much more to come.

Joolop is the creation of Chris Wood, a young entrepreneur who has been working in web design and other Internet matters since 1999.

The origin of the word Joolop is unknown, it just came into Chris’s head and he liked it. People who know him think he lives in another world.

The phrase "Head Full Of Cartoons" comes to mind. This was coined by the wife of his long-term business partner, who thinks he is crazy.

Chris doesn’t mind that. He says himself that he is K-R-A-Z-I-E, but that’s part of his charisma. Underneath all of that craziness is someone who lives life to the full and just loves creating new ideas and business and really making a difference.
