ShowerTan Featured on NBC’s Today Show in “Best At Home Spa Treatments” Segment.

March 29, 2008 - PRLog -- The ShowerTan home tanning system that turns any shower into a spray tanning booth was featured on NBC’s Today Show in a “Best At-Home Spa Treatments” segment which aired March 13, 2008.  Identical twin models were used to demonstrate how the system works and to provide a simultaneous “before and after” comparison of ShowerTan’s full-body, golden, sunless tan results.

ShowerTan was one of four innovative products showcased in the segment, which presented do-it-yourself at home alternatives to professional treatments popular in salons and spas.  Today Consumer Correspondent Janice Lieberman hosted the segment as part of the regularly featured “Today’s Consumer Smarts” series.

Response to the segment has been outstanding according to company spokesperson Rick Buswell:  ”We really didn’t know what to expect since this was ShowerTan’s first ever TV appearance.  Despite the fact that our pricing was misstated, web traffic and orders have been significantly above normal thanks to the exposure.”
