At MWE, Mr. Rahman serves in the Financial Services Practice Group, where he assists in a compliance and advisory capacity for many of the firm’s financial clients, including two of the world’s largest privately-held hedge funds. Mr. Rahman, who joined MWE in 1993, has also served within its Manufacturing and Real Estate Practice Groups. Over the course of his career, he has provided critical services to MWE clients including due diligence on several high profile acquisitions. Additionally, he has been a leader within the firm’s internal operations. He is a co-founder of the MWE Mentor Program – one of the first among the profession’s large regional CPA firms – and continues to lead this initiative which has been instrumental in the development and recruitment of high caliber accounting professionals. In addition, he has served on various committees including the Review and Nominating Committees. A published author and media source for leading news and trade publications, Mr. Rahman recently represented MWE in several high profile hedge fund events, including a leading international conference.
Mr. Rahman’s first accounting position was as a Staff Accountant with the CPA firm of Adelman, Katz & Monz, LLP (New York, NY), where he remained for two years until joining MWE.

Mr. Rahman, who earned his Bachelor of Science from New York University’s (NYU) Stern School of Business, actively participates in its various conferences and meetings with include his fellow alumni, many of whom are Fortune 500 executives and other prominent professionals.
He resides in Westbury, NY.
