Belize City, Belize — Macarena Rose, a real estate expert in Belize since 2004 and owner of Rainforest Realty; (www.rainforestrealty.com ), has been elected the president of the Belize National Association of Realtors® (BNAR). The organization has a joint reciprocal relationship with the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the leading organization of real estate professionals in the United States. The partnership recognizes the growing importance of the Belize economy, both in the Central American region and as a magnet for international investors.
The Belize National Association of Realtors®, based in Belize City, was founded in 2004 and is incorporated as a nonprofit organization. The association has 150 agent members, representing 60 percent of the country’s real estate professionals. The new partnership underscores Belize’s commitment to high-quality, ethical real estate transactions for its population as well as those looking to buy retirement homes, second homes or land in Belize.
