Mar 26, 2008 – Singer/Songwriter Raine and Producer/Songwriter Breo have joined forces to create a dance-pop/electronic CD titled ‘Dance With Me’. Available now, the CD is distributed worldwide to retail music outlets and online digital music stores by CD Baby. Born in Lytham, St. Anne’s England and raised in Ontario,Canada, Raine wrote and recorded this CD between 2007 and 2008 via the internet with Breo, who lives in the U.K. After meeting on the social networking website myspace, the two decided to collaborate on the ‘Dance With Me’ CD. Breo wrote the music and produced the album, while Raine wrote the lyrics and melodies. Thousands of miles apart, and never having met face to face, they were able to create a collection of songs that have emotive lyrics and strong melody lines set against a backdrop of addictive beats and captivating electronic synth sounds. The title track ‘Dance With Me’ has a contagious rhythm that beckons the listener to hit the dance floor. Track One ‘Cry’
immediately engages the listener with Raine’s haunting vocals at the beginning of the track. Dance With Me is an ideal CD for listening to while working out at the gym, driving in your car, or dancing at your local hot spot.
Raine is a versatile and accomplished singer/songwriter. She has toured extensively in Canada in various bands honing her skills as a singer and playing bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and keyboards. Renowned U.S. vocal coach, Seth Riggs has described Raine’s vocal ability as ‘A wonderful voice, an A1 voice’. Her music has received reviews in acclaimed magazines such as Billboard; radio airplay in the United States, Canada and Europe; and broadcast on television shows in Canada, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States including MTV’s ‘Cribs’ and ‘Becoming’ series.
Breo is a member of the duo ‘God Complex’ well known in the U.K’s Stoke-On-Trent underground hip/hop, electronica music scene. Over the years he has collected vintage music equipment to create his inimitable sound. Breo’s first acquisition was a Roland TR-808 Drum Machine. He was hooked from then on and started to build up his home studio which consists of PC Running Cubase SX3, Roland MC-303, Juno-106, Korg Ms-2000, Freebass, Yamaha TG-55 Roland Sh-32, Sprit Mixer and other software synths.
