Wingstop Recognizes Its Top Performers

Top Gun awards given to 32 Wingstop operators

March 26, 2008 - PRLog -- DALLAS –  Wingstop announced today the winners of its first annual Top Gun Awards.

The Top Gun Awards were established by the chain to recognize the best of the best operators in the Wingstop system. The name alludes to the Navy’s term for their top pilots, a tribute to the chain’s aviation theme. It was designed to keep system-wide focus on the basics of strong operations: great food, service and clean restaurants, says Scott Lack, Wingstop senior franchise business consultant and developer of the Top Gun program.

“2007 was our first full year with the program and we know it works well because the top gun winners’ sales averages outperformed the company’s,” said Lack. “This proves the basis of the program, specifically, strong operations boosts sales.”

The winners were: David Victorian, Tracy Henry and Jacqui Brewer, Patricia O'Leary-Smith, Richard Villimar, Gary Shultz, Danny Sonenshine, Lex Lane and Alan Schaffer, Ruth Kirby, Ray and Johnsye Doyle, Samir Abou-Diwan, Jeff Tsipis, Ann Taylor, Charles and Luanne Scott, Nick Hawn, Charles Loflin, Phillip Maldonado, Jennifer Graham, Pam McWhorter, Todd Metten, David Doss, Scott Bonner, Brad Wilemon, Joe Hoing and Paul Leonard.

To achieve the award the franchisee had to have a 96 average for the year in their mystery shop scores and a 96 average in their Quality, Service, Cleanliness evaluations done by Wingstop franchise business consultants.
