Dr. Priyaranjan Prasad has been named an Honored Member in Automotive Safety by Princeton Premier.

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 26, 2008 – Dr. Priyaranjan Prasad earned a Ph.D. in biomechanics from Wayne State University.  He is currently a technical fellow of the Ford Motor Corp., a leading manufacturer of automobiles and trucks.  In this capacity, Dr. Prasad heads the company’s global operations and engages in extensive research with regard to the innovative safety features of Ford vehicles.  Dr. Prasad has been with the Ford Motor Company since 1973 and is a recognized expert in automotive safety.  He is the author of more than one hundred published papers and is responsible for significant developments within the safety industry.  Dr. Prasad is on the editorial board of the Traffic Injury Prevention publication and is a fellow of the National Academy of Engineering as well as the Society of Automotive Engineers.  In his spare time, Dr. Prasad engages in altruistic endeavors and is a supporter of the United Way as well as many community sponsored activities.  He lives in Michigan where he enjoys music, attending the theater, golf, travel and reading.  His valuable contribution of increased safety and life-saving innovations within the automotive industry has earned him a place among the world’s most accomplished business leaders and professionals.  It is an honor to recognize his impact and award his involvement by including him in the 2008/2009 Princeton Premier Registry.
