Photographer Releases Book Of Upstate New York Capital Region Cities And Streets

March 25, 2008 - PRLog -- (ALBANY, NY) - A previously unreleased book of images, entitled Street Photography of New York's Capital Region, has now been released. The book shows familiar elements of streets in the Capital District Region of Upstate New York. The cities highlighted in this book of photography are: Albany, Schenectady, Troy, and Saratoga Springs. Familiar scenes like downtown Albany's State Street with the Capital in the distance, LarkFEST, the brownstones of Troy, and Saratoga Springs' Broadway are just some of the images contained in the book. The photographs were taken by local photographer, Michael Roach.

The Street Photography of New York's Capital Region contains a total of 30 images taken with both film and digital cameras. The book has a mixture of color and black and white photographs. The square format of the book combined with a circular gritty close-up of a street sewer cover draw one's attention to the pages inside. In conjunction with the release of the book, a promotional poster is also available and shows a sampling of some of the area's well-traveled streets.

Street Photography of New York's Capital Region is the author's first book.
