Oprah & Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth - Overcoming Illness & Pain, Cultivating Well Being & Healing

March 25, 2008 - PRLog -- During Oprah and Eckhart Tolle's online class they discussed chapter 2 of Eckhart's book A New Earth. A caller from Maui, Hawaii called in asking how she could overcome her health problem and battle with lupus.

Eckhart said: "The most important thing is awareness of the identification" with the disease. Once awareness has risen, "now create space between yourself and the illness."

Paul F Davis author of Supernatural Fire and Waves of God agrees: "Many times we unbeknownst to ourselves begin to identify with our condition and take ownership of it creating a false identity. The subconscious motivations for doing so can vary and differ. Nevertheless reclaiming your inner identity and disassociating yourself from the disease is the first step in ridding your body of it and curing it."

The first way you can begin disassociating yourself from illness and disease is to not talk about it. Eckhart told the caller from Maui, "The more you talk about it ...the more you keep that process going. ...refrain from thinking of yourself as a sick person ...and focus attention to well being."

As someone who practices divine healing and manifests miracles through prayer, Paul F. Davis goes a step further encouraging those who are ill to disassociate and separate themselves from their sickness by verbally cursing the very thought of illness whenever it comes to mind and commanding any illness or disease in their body to die.

Jesus cursed the fig tree that didn't bear fruit. Christ's disciple Peter said: "Master, behold, the fig tree which You cursed is withered away" (Mark 11:21).  Truly "death and life are in the power of the tongue; and we who love it shall eat the fruit thereof" (Proverbs 18:21).

Eckhart wisely remarked: "If the mind starts to complain about being in physical pain, you have two levels of pain - you have psychological pain and physical pain.  ...Don't create psychological pain on top of the physical pain."

Eckhart encouraged the precious lady to "see well being around you in nature. Nature is the very embodiment of well being."

Oprah looking forward to her next trip to Hawaii herself happily said to the caller: "Lot of opportunity to do that in Maui."

Sickness therefore can be overcome, well being cultivated, and health initiated through proper thoughts and speech. Incorporate these life enhancing spiritual truths with a welcoming of divine intervention and assuredly you will experience a miraculous supernatural release restoring health and peace.

Reconnect with nature and the Creator to gently nurture divine life within.
