PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge#47: Digital Darkroom #2

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 25, 2008 – Photography Corner ( www.PhotographyCorner.com ) has announced that Ermin Monzon is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded a prize pack that includes a camera bag and numerous promotion items (pens, shirts, hats, etc).  The recent challenge asked photographers to use a post-editing program like Photoshop, Picasa or GIMP and create a new image by using at least two of the ten images provided for the contest.  This contest marked the second “Digital Darkroom” challenge at PhotographyCorner, which gave photographers a break from actually taking photographs, and gives them an opportunity to enhance their post-production work in a contest setting.  PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued every 3 weeks throughout the year.

With over 21% of the votes from a total of 31 qualifying submissions, Ermin won the recent photography challenge CCC#47: Digital Darkroom by creating an aged-looking photograph of a run-down railroad.  This is the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Ermin Monzon, who is also a moderator at PhotographyCorner.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).  Only Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the bigger prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest, and all have a chance to wins prizes in each contest.  Everyone is invited to participate in the five-day voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
