FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Mar 25, 2008 – Participants in the 2008 MSc program hail from 13 countries including China, Korea, Japan and of course Singapore itself. Professor Francis Koh, who directs the MSc program, and Wealth Management Institute CEO Annie Wee also made the journey to Lucerne, where most of the Swiss program is held.

The visitors attended a welcome event at the Lucerne Culture and Convention Centre on the day of their arrival, before beginning an intensive daily schedule of lectures and assignment work. Dr. Harry Hurzeler, Swiss Finance Institute director of executive education, began the program with presentations on business strategies in wealth management.

The Swiss Finance Institute assembled a further six international experts in wealth management to lead the study block. “Our students benefit from direct contact with world-class experts in Switzerland,” explained Professor Koh. “We would like to see the program develop further, including future research collaborations with faculty at the Swiss Finance Institute.”

Roughly half the students in the program already have up to 10 years of experience in the financial services sector. Visitors and hosts therefore learn at first hand how wealth management is conducted in Europe and in Asia. “This program satisfies a strong mutual interest in enhancing wealth management around the world,” explained Dr. Hurzeler.
