Lunarline DIACAP Training: A Success for CENTCOM and SOCOM

Lunarline provides CyberSecurity Training provided for DoD.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 24, 2008 -
Lunarline, Inc., a service disabled veterans small business (SDVOSB) company, recently completed successful DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) training for the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) and the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

DoD’s understanding of new security policies come with its accreditation process change from DoD Information Technology Security Certification & Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) to DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).

DIACAP training is especially important in maintaining information security compliance.  Lunarline is well prepared to provide reliable training as its personnel are thoroughly trained in DIACAP.  The company wrote the certification and accreditation process for the department of defense and the intelligence community.

"Our employees are working on DIACAP packages on a daily bases.  We have a robust DIACAP training process for all of our employees to ensure they can offer the best DIACAP support in the business,” said Waylon Krush, Lunarline CEO.

Lunarline provided CENTCOM and SOCOM with their 3-day In-Depth training curriculum which included an in-depth, hands-on look into the DIACAP processes and procedures.  The training also included extensive knowledge of the DIACAP Activities and Documentation requirements.

Lunarline also hosts 1,2,3 and 5-day training schedules on our site or yours (CONUS and OCONUS). For more information regarding our training programs go to: http://www.lunarline.com/services_specific_DIACAP.html

The CENTCOM/SOCOM training was designed for IA Managers (IAM), system owners, administrators, developers, integrators, and Information Assurance staff who already have understanding of the accreditation process and the need of a detailed working knowledge of the DIACAP process, the DoD baseline security controls, and the transition from DITSCAP to DIACAP.

In general, Lunarline’s DIACAP training seminars provide the industry's overview of the requirements, regulations and processes mandated by DIACAP. The course is then tailored to the specific mission requirements of our customers.  The course also assists students in developing their transition strategy to DIACAP.
