Days are now filled with the anticipation of a May opening and new features to the program like 7 course dinners and champagne brunch rides. "We are particularly excited about this summer because we have so many new riding opportunities for guests," says Alison Waring, head wrangler at Red Horse Mountain Ranch, "With our 350,000 acres of trails, you could stay here all summer and not see the same view of the mountains twice."
It is not just the new riding opportunities that have travelers heading to this historic place, Red Horse Mountain Ranch staff is ready to reveal their latest upgrades to the facilities including luxury lodge suites, new kids program facilities, a new couples cabin, and the addition of two more hot tubs to accommodate the growing guest load. Lodge suites, ideal for single and couples, provide the perfect blend of comfort and privacy, with the convenience of the lodge amenities at your fingertips. Suites will include queen beds, sitting areas, private bath, microwaves and refrigerators. The new couple’s cabin includes a queen bed, large sitting area, private bath, microwave and refrigerator, and private deck.
Ranch Manager Cory Inouye says, "Our cabins and suites are designed to accommodate today’s ranch vacation. We have seen a huge increase in honeymooners this season and feel we have provided the perfect location for couples to enjoy privacy but still have access to the social atmosphere of a dude ranch vacation.”
To prepare for the discerning travelers that choose Red Horse Mountain Ranch every summer, Inouye has a rigorous staff training schedule that takes place throughout the months of April and early May. This includes extensive customer service training, and a three week guide school which helps new staff perfect their skills at the abundant number outdoor activities available to guests.
"Coming to Red Horse Mountain Ranch is more than just a vacation, it’s an experience. We recruit staff that shares a vision of horses, hats, and hospitality. They are willing to put in the work to make the perfect ranch vacation for our guests," says Inouye. "Our guides and staff are trained to be experts at what they do."
The hard work pays off, as seen by the reservation book that is being filled earlier and earlier each year by guests booking their next visit before departing from their last. “Our place has become a family tradition for many and we look forward to seeing our returning guests every season. Those familiar faces have now become part of our tradition here at Red Horse Mountain Ranch,” says Inouye.
