Mar 24, 2008 – Green Terra Firma Joins Earth Hour
Green Terra Firm joined the worldwide movement, Earth Hour, to be celebrated March 29th at 8:00PM local time. While turning lights out for one hour will not save the planet on it's own, the awareness that this campaign has created can't help but move us in the right direction.
At 8:00pm on March 29th, Green Terra Firma will pull the main circuit breaker to our facilities, thus completely eliminating all electrical use for one hour. Since the web is accessed by people all over the world, our website will still be up during this period, as the servers are physically loacted in another city, using professional facilities.
