Free Photography Services Offered For Special Needs Children

Photography Studio Offers Zero-Dollar Session Fees for Special Needs Children

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Mar 23, 2008 – It's not that easy to find a photographer who has the patience required to provide a comfortable photo shoot. It's that much harder when you have a special needs child that's been diagnosed with something like Classic Autism, Cerebral Palsy, or Down Syndrome. Not to mention that the child may or may not be comfortable outside of their home environment in a cramped studio space. Ideally Yours Photography, a photography studio located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is announcing that it will provide free photography services to children with special needs. Dea Bell, the owner and operator of the studio is the mother of a child diagnosed with autism. She goes on to state on her website, "I understand how difficult or impossible it seems to get professional photographs of your child and I understand how important it is for a special needs child to be in his or her own element in order to feel comfortable. For us, going to the studio was a complete nightmare. The waiting room, the other people waiting, the itchy clothes... my daughter was usually on the edge of hysteria even before it was our turn. Then the photographers would become irritated because she wouldn't look in the direction of the camera and would just take pictures to get us out of there." Ideally Yours Photography will to travel on location anywhere within a 15 mile radius of their Broken Arrow studio to meet your child's needs at no cost.

Ideally Yours Photography was established in 2005 and has made vendor appearances at "Babies 'R' Us" and the Tulsa Family Expo and Baby Fest. The studio is a member of the American Child Photographers Charity Guild, Professional Photographers of Oklahoma, Professional Photographers of America and National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Other photography styles of the studio include maternity, senior portaits, and glamour & boudoir. They studio can be reached by phone at 918-636-7220 or by email at Dea@IdeallyYoursPhotography.com. You can also visit the website at http://www.IdeallyYoursPhotography.com. Sessions are scheduled by appointment only.
