The program includes the mysterious city of Timbuktu with a Sahara Desert camel ride to visit a Tuareg camp and a visit to Djenne’s Monday Market with it superb mud Mosque. Travelers will take a river cruise on the Niger River and walk along the Bandiagara Escarpment, home of the fascinating Dogon people, see traditional Malian dances in Dogon Country and shop at the artisan market in Bamako.
Cost is $3269 per person double plus tax. Price includes economy airfare from New York to Bamako, seven night’s hotels; seven breakfasts, sightseeing, transfers, hotel tax and service.
