FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Mar 22, 2008 – Each day, students of the Life Skills class and case program at Plymouth North High School make the rounds of classrooms, collecting paper set aside for recycling.
To help celebrate this accomplishment and the students efforts in making Plymouth North a “greener” operation, Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac treated the students to a pizza party. Students recognized for their participation in the recycling program include: John Coughlin, Joe Conley, Amanda Darby, Angelica DiNatale, Benjamin Farrell, Sharod Finley, Jamie Forgue, Derrell Hampton, Lucy Shea, Devon Lownsdale, Eleace Walsh and Scott Wormald, “Chevrolet has made a very conscious effort to build hybrid vehicles and other automobiles with greater fuel efficiency to reduce emissions that could damage the environment. So, it’s quite fitting that we give the ‘Driven Student’ award to Plymouth North students who are also doing their part to make Plymouth greener,” said Jeff Tracy, president of Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac. “Again, we can’t thank Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac enough for their generosity with the ‘Driven Student’ program. The kids who participate in the recycling program, as well as the other teachers and aides involved in the program, make a very important contribution to our school and I can’t think of a more deserving group for the award or the pizza party,” said Life Skills Teacher Cionna Almeida. Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac’s Driven Student program recognizes Plymouth high school students for their performance and achievements in and out of the classroom. Awarded on a monthly basis, recipients are selected by faculty and advisors at the student’s given school.
