Possessing more than twelve years of experience in quality assurance, business operations, and logistics management, Jim utilizes his skills to help Cornerstone’s clients choose the right integrated accounting, e-commerce, CRM, manufacturing, warehouse management, POS, bar codes, scanning, RFID, VOIP, FAS (and more) software and technology. In addition, Jim has experience in obtaining ISO certification, and maintaining quality management systems. Having expertise in the areas of inventory control, purchasing, accounting procedures and project management, Jim utilizes these skills as well as his knowledge of the distribution industry, to provide Cornerstone’s clients with the right software solution for their businesses. Understanding how integrated software applications can streamline business processes and create profitable growth for companies, Jim efficiently guides clients through the software selection process. His primary role is to listen well and communicate effectively regarding the software needs of potential and existing SAP Business One, Sage Software and Comgine e-commerce clients.
Jim consults with clients regarding their current business management software, processes and procedures. After meeting with clients, Jim evaluates the client’s critical business management needs. He then provides clients with his recommendation for a SAP Business One, Sage Software, or Comgine e-commerce solution. Jim also presents clients with optimal software streamlining strategies for: substantially reducing transaction costs, enabling sales and revenue growth without additional staffing, facility or infrastructure expense; significantly reducing overhead costs; improving customer service; eliminating order processing errors and data duplication; viewing reports for instant, real-time tracking of item inventory and dramatically improving business efficiencies. Further, Jim provides clients with the projected software implementation timeline. When working on projects, Jim utilizes his technical skills and resources to effectively and consistently communicate with Cornerstone’s clients. As a liaison with Cornerstone’s clients, Jim communicates the stages of each project to senior staff on a daily basis. The timely communication with the technical and project management staff enables Jim to achieve seamless management and coordination of all new and existing client projects and resources.
Upon graduation from Pace University in 1993, Jim started his career selling microchips and integrated circuits for a large electronic components distribution company. Following his sales career, Jim became a product controller responsible for all distribution, quality assurance and warehousing areas of a distribution company. He was later promoted to the position of logistics director. From the position of a logistics director, he advanced into the role of senior operations manager. As a senior operations manager, Jim worked closely with the distribution company’s owner, management, clients and all staff, to ensure smooth daily operations. Throughout his career, Jim has honed his organizational skills and communication abilities to effect positive changes within enterprises. In addition, he has attained extensive knowledge of business: best practices, management, operations, logistics, quality assurance and software implementations.
