CoreDownload is a top shareware and freeware archive, with a wide range of products from business software to utilities and games. Categories are spread among major platforms like windows, mac, linux and PDA. Users can create account to define custom watch lists for their favorite products.
During the last year, CoreDownload reviewed more than a 1000 products from its database. The reviews and articles posting system was nice and simple, but it did not have all the power of a specialized solution. Because of this, CoreDownload decided to create a WordPress blog, knowing that WordPress is the most popular and powerful blogging platform.
The CoreDownload blog will include not only reviews and articles about the software presented on CoreDownload, but also the latest news about operating systems, security issues, and other IT areas. Users will be invited to post their comments.
With its blog, CoreDownload hopes to build a community, by connecting directly with shareware industry audience. RSS feeds are available for each category, making it easier for anyone to get the latest news.
