Mar 20, 2008 – (Los Angeles, CA) – Not only is foreclosure expert, Kaya Redford, assisting homeowners with saving their homes and their good names, he is also helping the Los Angeles Mission feed an Easter meal to thousands of homeless. Along with several hundred volunteers and a dozen or so celebrities, Redford has joined the ranks year after year to aid in the preparation and serving of the well-appreciated feast.
On Good Friday, March 21, 2008 from 11am – 3pm, “in traditional fashion, the LA Mission will provide over 3,000 hot meals for the homeless and hundreds of Easter baskets for the children. In addition to the normal festivities, the Los Angeles Mission Community Clinic will set up a station to clean the feet of [their] homeless guests!” as stated from the Mission’s web site.
Self-made real estate millionaire, Kaya Redford, has familiarized himself very well with the homeless. Ever since Redford directed the award-winning documentary, "Homeless In America" at the New York Film Festival in September 2004, he has made feeding the homeless at the Mission a personal undertaking.
